Programul acestor prelegeri este urm\u0103torul:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Luni, 17 noiembrie: <em>X-ray scattering and its use in exploring the structure of materials<\/em> (curs, 2 ore)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mar\u021bi, 18 noiembrie: <em>The nanoworld under the light of the synchrotron<\/em> (curs, 2 ore)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vineri, 21 noiembrie: <em>Nanoparticle assemblies: space- and time-resolved characterization<\/em> (conferin\u021ba plenar\u0103, aprox. 1 or\u0103).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Toate cele trei prelegeri vor \u00eencepe la ora 10.00 \u0219i vor fi g\u0103zduite de Institutul Na\u021bional de Cercetare-Dezvoltare pentru Fizica Materialelor (Str. Atomistilor nr.. 405A, M\u0103gurele \u2013 Sala Seminar, parter).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Scurt\u0103 descriere a cursurilor<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>X-ray scattering and its use in exploring the structure of materials<\/em><\/strong>. Dup\u0103 o scurt\u0103 prezentare \u0219i o sec\u021biune dedicat\u0103 motiva\u021biei, prima prelegere va introduce interac\u021biunea dintre razele X \u0219i materie \u0219i principiile de baz\u0103 ale \u00eempr\u0103\u0219tierii (elastice) \u0219i difrac\u021biei, inclusiv legea lui Bragg \u0219i leg\u0103tura str\u00e2ns\u0103 cu transformata Fourier. Ne vom concentra apoi asupra structurii cristalelor \u0219i vom introduce concepte precum conceptul de re\u021bea reciproc\u0103 \u0219i factorul de structur\u0103 pentru a explica caracteristicile intensit\u0103\u021bii \u00eempr\u0103\u0219tiate \u0219i modul \u00een care acestea dezv\u0103luie detaliile aranjamentelor atomice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dac\u0103 timpul ne va permite, vom aborda conceptul de coeren\u021b\u0103 \u0219i utilizarea acestuia \u00een aplica\u021bii moderne (imagistic\u0103 difractiv\u0103 coerent\u0103 \u0219i spectroscopie de corela\u021bie a fotonilor cu raze X). Vom \u00eencheia cu o prezentare general\u0103 a gener\u0103rii razelor X \u00een surse de laborator \u0219i la sincrotron \u0219i vom discuta pe scurt caracteristicile distinctive ale acestuia din urm\u0103 \u00een ceea ce prive\u0219te accesul \u0219i condi\u021biile de lucru.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>The nanoworld under the light of the synchrotron<\/em><\/strong>. \u00cen aceast\u0103 a doua prelegere, ne vom concentra asupra \u00eempr\u0103\u0219tierii luminii la unghi mic (SAXS), o tehnic\u0103 care dezv\u0103luie structura materiei la scar\u0103 \u201emare\u201d (de la nm la \u00b5m), acoperind diferen\u021ba dintre cristalografie \u0219i microscopie optic\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Vom ilustra puterea \u0219i utilitatea SAXS (\u00een special atunci c\u00e2nd se utilizeaz\u0103 radia\u021bia sincrotonic\u0103) cu c\u00e2teva studii recente privind ansamblurile de nanoparticule \u0219i mai multe sisteme de materie moale de origine biologic\u0103.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Despre conferin\u021ba <em>Nanoparticle assemblies: space- and time-resolved characterization<\/em><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Dr. Doru Constantin va discuta dou\u0103 aplica\u021bii recente ale tehnicilor bazate pe SAXS pentru elucidarea structurii structurilor mai mult sau mai pu\u021bin cristaline formate din blocuri de construc\u021bie nanometrice, cu accent pe rezolu\u021bia spa\u021bial\u0103 \u0219i temporal\u0103 a metodelor. \u00centr-un prim studiu [1], acesta a utilizat un microfascicul pentru a investiga interac\u021biunea dintre forma nanoparticulelor anizotrope \u0219i o \u201econfinare prismatic\u0103\u201d reglabil\u0103, care duce la autoasamblarea acestora \u00een supercristale (SC) confinate de cavit\u0103\u021bi cu sec\u021biune transversal\u0103 poligonal\u0103. A fost utilizat\u0103 o strategie de caracterizare multiscalar\u0103 pentru a determina orientarea \u0219i structura SC-urilor individual \u0219i la nivel de ansamblu. Descoperirile eviden\u021biaz\u0103 rolul interfe\u021bei matri\u021b\u0103-SC \u00een ghidarea cre\u0219terii domeniilor cristaline distincte: fiecare parte a matri\u021bei direc\u021bioneaz\u0103 formarea unui monodomeniu care se extinde p\u00e2n\u0103 c\u00e2nd \u00eent\u00e2lne\u0219te altul, duc\u00e2nd la crearea limitelor de granula\u021bie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen cadrul unei colabor\u0103ri continue cu echipa MATCA de la INCDFM Bucure\u0219ti \u0219i grupul lui Michel Barsoum de la Universitatea Drexel (Philadelphia, PA, SUA), a fost studiat\u0103 morfologia panglicilor de TiO<sub>2<\/sub> \u00een solu\u021bie \u0219i asamblarea lor \u00een cristale 3D la uscare [2,3], elucid\u00e2nd structurile ini\u021biale \u0219i finale. Urm\u0103torul obiectiv este de a urm\u0103ri \u00een detaliu evolu\u021bia dispersiei \u00een func\u021bie de concentra\u021bie (\u00een stare coloidal\u0103), ceea ce va permite explorarea \u00een detaliu a diagramei de faz\u0103 a acestei noi familii de obiecte coloidale, \u00een func\u021bie de metoda de sintez\u0103, natura solventului (ap\u0103, alcooli, aceton\u0103, DMSO etc.) \u0219i concentra\u021bie [4]. De asemenea, este director al \u201cMaterials and Nanosciences in the Greater East\u201d research federation (FRMNGE), o asocia\u021bie ce reune\u0219te aproximativ 1500 cercet\u0103tori din 31 de institute \u0219i laboratoare din estul Fran\u021bei, specializate \u00een \u0219tiin\u021ba materialelor \u0219i nano-structuri \u0219i fenomene. Folose\u0219te tehnici avansate bazate pe sincrotron pentru a studia cre\u0219terea \u0219i asamblarea nano-obiectelor anorganice, precum \u0219i interac\u021biunea dintre componentele din sistemele coloidale.
