If you are a foreign scientist working in a research institution from Bucharest – Ilfov Region and you are interested in learning the Romanian language and habits, you might want to join the course organised in cooperation with University of Bucharest Learning Center.

The meetings will be organised weekly, on Fridays, from 2 PM to 3.30 PM, starting from May 17th, after the Easter holiday, alternating online and face-to-face meetings. The location for the face-to-face meetings is going to be the University of Bucharest Learning Center (address: Boulevard Mihail Kogălniceanu 36-46, Camin Corp C, 3rd Floor, Bucharest).

The group’s first meeting took place on April 12th. The discussions were related to May 1st and the customs in each country since the day is approaching and the participants are very likely to participate in some local events. The vocabulary used in the meeting is available on Google Classroom Group. Researchers are invited to join the classroom even if they cannot attend all the sessions, as this is where Camelia Rădulescu (course coordinator and trainer) will post all materials, the textbook for the Romanian Language course, and the course schedule. You can also address questions, make comments, and propose topics for the Linguistic Cafe.
